Major delays are being reported around the metro area this weekend as Georgia DOT crews shut down several lanes on I-285 for construction work. Teenage girl abducted: kidnapper may be headed to Atlanta

A Levi's call has been issued for a 14-year-old girl who was abducted from Glennville, GA, just west of Savannah. Autorities say a 24-year-old man, named Danny or Daniel, kidnapped 14-year-old Griselda Cibrian on Saturday.  The two were last seen driving on Interstate 16, heading toward Atlanta. The girl is Hispanic, weighs about 185 pounds, with brown eyes and long black hair.  Griselda was last seen wearing a pink shirt with the words, "green tea" on it, with a pair of blue jean pants.

Atlanta R&B singer struck and killed in Gwinnett County

Police have identified the pedestrian who was struck and killed on Lawrenceville Highway Friday night, and it turns out the victim was a local singer. Gwinnett County police have confirmed that Atlanta R&B singer, Natina Reed, was the pedestrian struck by a driver in a Honda Accord.  The incident happened near Hamilton Road just north of Lilburn. A forgotten Powerball ticket tucked in the console of one Clayton County man’s truck has turned out to be a hidden gem from the Georgia Lottery.  Ramon Rodriguez, of Rex, matched five of six numbers from the Aug. 8 Powerball drawing, winning a $1 million prize.
